Jacques Herbin Shogun Ink by Kenzo

The Herbin Shogun Ink by Kenzo Takada is a twilight-colored ink, reminiscent of a beautiful night of stars, coated with fine red and gold shimmer. The resulting hue is reminiscent of certain armors from the Shogun era, for which Kenzo Takada held a fine appreciation.

Kenzo Takada is recognized as one of the most famous creators and designers of his generation. His recognizable style combines multicultural inspirations with a distinct Japanese touch. This ink is thus a homage to this exceptional man.

Please note that this is a shimmer ink, which means you should shake the bottle well before using (to ensure an even distribution of pigment and shimmer particles) and clean your pen regularly. I don’t use a lot of shimmer ink, but I find black shimmer inks to be particularly beautiful when they incorporate a subtle effect like this one.

Made in France. Each bottle contains 50ml of ink.
