TWSBI Precision Fountain Pen

TWSBI’s “Precision” lineup, now available in two different colors, features hexagonal barrels that characterize traditional technical pens and mechanical pencils. In addition to the Precision Ballpoints and Mechanical Pencils, TWSBI offers a technical-style piston-filling fountain pen that uses the same nib as the TWSBI Diamond 580, though the nib units are slightly different and you will need to swap the nib directly (by pulling and replacing) rather than using the Diamond 580’s threaded nib unit. Please note that the pen only fills from an ink bottle and does not ship with ink, but bottled ink can be purchased separately here.

The idea behind the TWSBI fountain pens was to go back to basics and capture the simplicity and elegance of traditional writing instruments. In recent years, the development and modernization of writing instruments has resulted in traditional writing instruments, such as fountain pens, falling into obscurity. It was TWSBI’s goal to bring the past back to life by creating a traditional fountain pen that even modern day society can appreciate.
