Kakimori Hardcover A5 Notebooks

Kakimori created these hardbound notebooks with everyday use in mind. A Smyth-sewn binding ensures each page opens perfectly flat. The pages feature a hand-drawn, light grey grid that is gentle on the eyes and doesn’t stand out when scanned. After you complete the notebook, it fits on a bookshelf and becomes part of a treasured collection over time.

Each of the various notebook designs are limited edition in that they are released for a period of time and then switched out with different fabric. Some details:

• Tactile, woven Banshu-ori fabric cover made with garment fabric by Shimada Textiles, as well as additional collaborations with individual artisans, many of which are limited.
• The current Enshu Orimono series features Enshu orimono, a traditional Japanese woven cotton textile preserved over generations in western Shizuoka Prefecture since the Edo period.
• The Bishu series features fabric woven in the Bishu region, one of the most renowned wool textile regions in the world.
• Lie-flat Smyth-sewn binding; OK Fools Paper works well with fountain pens
• 5mm grid ruling is printed in light grey ink that is easy on the eyes
