Craighill Kepler Pen

Always on the lookout for unique riffs on durable, basic everyday carry designs, the Kepler Pen from Craighill first caught my eye back in 2020, when I met the individuals behind the brand at a trade show in NYC. This ballpoint’s unique design, with the rippled metal barrel, is comfortable to hold, and the unique knock mechanism uses the versatile and universally available D1 refill.

The Kepler Pen ships in three finishes: Brass, Vapor Black (PVD-coated stainless steel), and Stainless Steel. As I mentioned above, while the pen includes the excellent Schmidt 635 ballpoint refill, it accepts the D1 standard so you can substitute your Uniball Jetstream, Zebra Sharbo, or other refill of your choice.
