Platinum Desk Fountain Pen

Do you envy the class of an old-school desk pen but don’t necessarily want to mess with the peccadilloes of a vintage pen? The Platinum Desk pen is a high-quality, inexpensive desk pen from Japanese pen company Platinum, which we believe makes some of the best fountain pens available for everyday writing, especially in the extra-fine and fine nib widths. These desk pens all feature an ultra-smooth, gold-tone stainless steel extra-fine nib and Platinum’s Slip-and-Seal cap technology to prevent the pen from drying out.

Desk pen measures roughly 7.25" capped, 6.75" uncapped, and is tapered towards the end for balance. The pen does not post.

Available in Black or Red, Desk Base sold separately. Ships with one cartridge of Platinum black or red ink, respectively.
