The Platinum Plaisir is widely regarded as one of the best entry level fountain pens available. A lightweight cartridge-converter pen that comes in a wide array of colors and features a sturdier barrel, representing a more durable upgrade over the Preppy and the Prefounte.

The Plaisir uses Platinum’s signature “slip and seal” technology to keep your pen from drying out. Available in two nib sizes, fine (03) or medium (05), and nearly a dozen different colors. Each pen ships with an ink cartridge. Platinum converters and ink cartridges are sold separately.
